Bridging Mountains and Joining Hands Towards Afar (Ambassador’s Essay: Promoting the ‘Shanghai Spirit’ – SCO in Action)

The 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit will be held in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1. Under the guidance of the ‘Shanghai Spirit’ of ‘mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality, consultation, respect for diverse civilizations, and pursuit of common development,’ all parties will maintain the SCO’s stability and resilience in dealing with international uncertainties and unpredictable factors, creating a lasting peace, universal security, shared prosperity, openness, inclusiveness, harmony, and friendly environment for the people of the region.
