NEW DELHI: A 13-year-old Afghan boy, who survived a dangerous journey hidden inside the wheel bay of a Kabul-Delhi flight, was sent back to Afghanistan on the same airline, KAM Air. The incident occurred as the boy boarded KAM Air flight RQ4401 from Hamid Karzai International Airport. Authorities confirmed the deportation of the teenager on Sunday evening. The boy’s confusion led him to believe the aircraft was bound for Iran, resulting in his stowing away in the plane. The perilous situation raised concerns about airport security and the safety measures in place at Hamid Karzai International Airport.
