Akasa Air is considering expanding its operations to Kenya, Ethiopia, Egypt, and several other countries, with CEO Vinay Dube expressing confidence in the airline’s Boeing delivery schedule. Dube stated that the three-year-old carrier feels ‘very good’ about the upcoming Boeing plane deliveries. The airline currently serves six international destinations, including Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait City, and Phuket, along with 24 domestic locations. Dube emphasized that the international expansion of Akasa Air is progressing well, with plans to announce flights to Sharjah soon. The airline’s fleet comprises 30 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with expectations to add more planes throughout the year.
