Alleged assassination attempt on IRGC commander linked to Israel, Iran dismisses rumors

Iran has denied reports suggesting that Esmail Qaani, the commander of the Iranian Quds Force, was targeted in an assassination attempt. The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency confirmed that the rumors circulating on social media, supposedly connected to Israel’s Mossad, were false. The misinformation attempted to create chaos and sow discord, according to Iranian officials. In a statement, Iran clarified that Qaani was safe and unharmed, condemning the spread of false information intended to destabilize the region.
