Jalandhar – After a shameful incident in Paras Estate, Jalandhar, a senior secondary school deputy superintendent under Kishangarh police jurisdiction in a village subjected a 10th grade student to harassment. The girl was attacked, but managed to raise an alarm and save herself. She reported the incident to the school principal and her family. Based on the girl’s father statement, the police filed a case under IPC sections 74, 75, 351(2), 8, and 10. The girl stated, ‘When I was going to meet my teacher, I encountered Deputy Master Rajinder Kumar, who is the son of Balbir Kumar from Biaas village. He took me to the beauty lab room. I thought maybe he had something to discuss, but when Deputy Master Rajinder took me inside and tried to close the door, he grabbed me from behind and started behaving inappropriately.’
