Bill Gates highlighted the influence of Mahatma Gandhi’s principles on the work carried out by the Gates Foundation, praising India’s innovative solutions for global challenges. The celebration took place during the 156th birth anniversary of Gandhi in Seattle. In addition to Seattle, events commemorating Gandhi’s legacy were also organized in New York and Washington. The Indian diaspora along with officials paid tribute to Gandhi across various locations in the United States during the occasion.
