Botafogo takes new legal action against Eagle, demanding R$ 140 million related to loan to RWDM Brussels

Botafogo’s SAF has filed a new lawsuit in Rio de Janeiro’s court on Friday (8/8) against Eagle Football Holdings, this time related to a €20 million loan to RWDM Brussels, a Belgian team from the multi-club group. The information comes from ‘Blog do Ancelmo Gois’ in the newspaper ‘O Globo’, stating that the claim amounts to R$ 139,845,596.42. The case is being handled under judicial secrecy. As reported by the blog, the loan process underwent several credit actions until Eagle took on the payment obligation in June, with a due date on 1/7. The amounts were not settled.
