The Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) acquitted player Bruno Henrique of fraud related to betting and reversed the suspension of games. However, the Flamengo forward was framed under article 191, III, of the CBJD, which deals with violations related to the breach of competition regulations and must pay a fine of R$ 100,000. Did you find the acquittal fair? Vote in the poll. The majority of STJD’s Plenary Tribunal agreed that there was not enough evidence to convict the athlete of sporting ethics violations. The trial had different opinions. Out of the nine Plenary members, six votes were in favor of acquittal, two were in favor of increasing the penalty, and one advocated for maintaining the previous conviction.
