Building a Closer SCO Community of Shared Future Together

The 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit took place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1. President Xi Jinping met with leaders of 23 countries and 10 heads of international organizations to discuss friendship, cooperation, and development. The discussions at the summit focused on strengthening economic ties, enhancing security cooperation, and promoting cultural exchanges among member states. The meeting concluded with the adoption of the Tianjin Declaration, outlining the shared goals and commitments of the SCO member states. The summit marked a significant step towards deepening cooperation and fostering a sense of community among the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
