Cécile Kohler, Detained in Iran for Three Years, is ‘Exhausted’, Warns Support Committee

Cécile Kohler, detained since May 2022 in Iran along with her partner Jacques Paris, is ‘exhausted’, her family has announced. She has not seen her family since July 1st, but they were able to contact her on Saturday, September 13 after two months of no contact. The exchange with her mother was monitored closely and could only last a few minutes, as reported by Kohler’s support committee. ‘With drawn features, Cécile says she’s exhausted,’ the committee continued in a statement. She was unable to disclose her location, kept secret by Iranian authorities.
