Bahrain’s National Day celebrations commenced with the inauguration of the Bahrain Festival at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayyan by Sheikh Muhammad bin Salman Al Khalifa. The festival marks a significant part of the country’s national festivities. Information Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi and numerous dignitaries welcomed him. Sheikh Muhammad bin Salman highlighted the importance of showcasing the country’s achievements in various sectors and praised Bahrainis’ relentless efforts in progress.
Sheikh Muhammad bin Salman emphasized the vital role of public participation in the country’s national identity and the preservation of its rich history. He praised all the organizations involved in organizing the festival and acknowledged Bahraini youth for promoting national values. The success of the event was attributed to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Information’s staff and the event organizers for promoting cultural exchange and strengthening national pride.
Information Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to inaugurate the Bahrain Festival alongside Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The event aimed to showcase the country’s overall development under King Hamad’s leadership, emphasizing the achievements and progress made in various sectors.
The Bahrain Gayak Sangh, a national cultural initiative initiated by the Information Ministry, also received special acknowledgment during the festival’s inauguration. The goal of the project is to showcase the country’s rich musical heritage in a unique and contemporary style. The festival launch was a testament to Bahrain’s commitment to preserving national traditions while embracing modernity, as highlighted by Sheikh Muhammad bin Salman Al Khalifa.
