China believes that imposing sanctions on Iran because of its nuclear program is not the right strategy. In a statement, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian further stated that ‘it does not help the parties to build trust and overcome disagreements, and is not in line with the interests of the international community.’ China’s stance reflects its commitment to resolving international disputes through dialogue and diplomacy rather than punitive measures.
