Construction of People’s School Phase II in Progress, Completion by 2026

The development of People’s School Phase II is currently ongoing in 104 locations across Indonesia and is being carried out by the Ministry of Public Works with a focus on three provinces. The program is expected to accommodate up to 112,320 students and will provide 3,744 classes from elementary to high school. In Kalimantan Tengah, construction includes Gunung Mas Regency, Katingan Regency, Kotawaringin Timur Regency, and Palangka Raya City. Meanwhile, in Kalimantan Selatan, schools are being built in Banjarbaru Regency, Barito Kuala Regency, and Tanah Bumbu Regency. In Sulawesi Selatan, schools are being erected in Soppeng Regency, Wajo, Barru, Sidrap, Tana Toraja, Bone, Sinjai, Takalar, and Makassar City.
