Corinthians believes that Mexicans will need to compromise on debt for Félix

Osmar Stabile, interim president of Timão, has been trying to contact the Mexican team’s representatives since last Monday, but with no response. There is a possibility of the leader traveling to Mexico to try to solve the problem. Last week, there were more than one conversation between the parties, but no agreement. In the debt imbroglio, another situation may lead Timão to yet another ‘ban’: the debt with Talleres, from Argentina, for the hiring of Rodrigo Garro. The debt of about 5 million dollars (R$ 27 million at the current exchange rate) is pending at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The São Paulo club is appealing the unfavorable decision given by FIFA, while considering another renegotiation. The case has reached this point due to a clause in the sales contract, which established that Corinthians would pay all installments in advance in case of any delays. In addition, there were also charges for interest and fines.
