CV kingpins use app group to determine tortures and security schedules in Alemão and Penha

The Comando Vermelho (CV) bosses have created groups on messaging apps to communicate with gang members on various issues, ranging from torturing residents of Alemão and Penha complexes to scheduling security guards who attend drug points or their commander on the street: trafficker Edgar Alves de Andrade, known as Doca or Urso. Investigations that led to Tuesday’s operation, considered the deadliest in Rio’s history, show that Juan Breno Ramos, also known as BMW, is responsible for enforcing the punishments defined by the faction in the complexes for behaviors that displease the criminals, such as beatings, tortures, and homicides. To prevent fights in funk parties in the community, for example, the criminals have adopted a new form of punishment: women involved are placed in ice coolers. There are also beatings and even orders for executions.
