According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), at 05:11 GMT on Thursday, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck 14 kilometers west of Susitna in Alaska. The USGS reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was 80.4 kilometers below the surface. The initial location was determined at 61.57 degrees latitude and 150.78 degrees west longitude. Concurrently, Indonesia experienced another powerful earthquake. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale in Indonesia.
