Ecuadorians will go to the polls on November 16th to decide on the formation of a Constituent Assembly to replace the current constitution, in place since Rafael Correa’s presidency (2007-2017). This initiative is led by the current president, Daniel Noboa, who secured approval from the Constitutional Court this Wednesday to hold the vote.
