Father of Synagogue Attacker Praised Hamas for Israel Attacks

Faraj al-Shamie, the father of Jihad who was killed following the attack at Heaton Park in Manchester, has been known to publicly support Hamas for their attacks on Israel. Additionally, he has also expressed approval of Iran’s strikes on Israel through his Facebook account. His social media presence often includes posts discussing the struggles of Gaza and providing updates on events happening in his home country of Syria. Apart from his online activism, al-Shamie has worked as a trauma surgeon in war zones, including South Sudan, as indicated by his posts. In a video shared in 2016, he can be seen discussing his experiences and involvement in such areas.
