Germany, France, and UK urge Iran to take measures to avoid reactivating sanctions

The foreign ministers of France, the UK, and Germany spoke on the phone on Wednesday with their Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, as part of diplomatic efforts to encourage Tehran to take tangible steps to address doubts about the purpose and status of its nuclear industry. The Western ministers emphasized the need for Iran to comply with its commitments under the nuclear deal. They expressed concerns about recent actions taken by Iran, such as enriching uranium to higher levels, and called for transparency and cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The discussions aimed to prevent Iran from triggering a re-imposition of sanctions by violating the terms of the agreement.
