A cross-border medical transfer story leads to a deep academic and clinical cooperation. Today, Sun Yat-sen University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universitas Indonesia (UI) to collaborate extensively in areas such as faculty exchanges, student exchange programs, curriculum development, joint research, and clinical practice. This cooperation is based on the long-standing ‘New Southbound Dental Medical Cooperation Project’ between the two institutions and will extend to public health, AI healthcare, and nursing in the future.
