Bangalore, November 20, 2025: Siddaramaiah’s government in Karnataka has made a significant and crucial decision in light of increasing attacks by stray dogs in the state. The state government has announced that victims of dog bites will now be provided with government compensation. Under this new policy, if a person dies due to a dog attack, their family will receive financial aid of up to 5 lakh rupees, and up to 5,000 rupees for injuries.
