The 3.18-million-year-old bone fragments of our human ancestor, affectionately known as Lucy, are set to make their European debut at the Czech National Museum in Prague. These rare bone fragments, which typically reside in Ethiopia, will be on display for the public starting Monday. This marks the first time Lucy’s remains have left Ethiopia, offering a unique opportunity for Europeans to view this ancient ancestor up close in Prague.
