Indonesia Eliminated from U-17 World Cup as Uganda Beats France

Jakarta – Indonesia’s national team is officially out of the U-17 World Cup. This result came after Uganda managed to beat France. The Uganda vs France match took place on matchday three of Group K, on Tuesday (11/11/2025). In the game held at Aspire Zone – Pitch 3, Doha, Uganda won 1-0 through a goal from James Bogere in the 18th minute. This outcome dashed Indonesia’s hopes of advancing to the round of 32. Indonesia is now placed in 10th position in the standings, which is filled with the third-placed teams from 12 groups. Indonesia has garnered three points from three matches. Initially, Indonesia could have hoped for results in Groups L and J if Uganda failed to beat France. However, this was not an easy task as the matches in Groups J and L involving Paraguay and Saudi Arabia needed a significant score difference of at least a 0-5 loss. The team led by Nova Arianto started their journey with a 1-3 defeat to Zambia and a 0-1 loss to Brazil. Indonesia managed to secure a 2-1 victory against Honduras.
