Admissions for Indonesian films hit 82 million in 2024, projected to surpass 100 million in five years. Local productions dominated the national box office in 2024, with top titles attracting millions of admissions. The box office surged from $75 million in 2020 to $392 million in 2024, outperforming Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand.
