Inspection Alert! Farmer’s Must Have Passbooks Yet to Reach Them!

Mahbubnagar district has been facing delays in land registrations, leading farmers to wait for three months for their passbooks. This delay has affected farmers’ access to bank loans, agricultural subsidies, and PM Kisan scheme. Due to the missing passbooks, farmers are unable to avail the benefits of government programs and face financial losses. The Additional Collector, Bhanseelaal Hameed, assured to address any concerns and expedite the process.

The ongoing land registrations have further delayed the distribution of passbooks to farmers in Mahbubnagar district. This delay has become a major issue affecting farmers’ interactions with banks, obtaining loans, and accessing government schemes. The laziness in distributing passbooks has led to a breakdown in communication, causing serious financial implications for the farmers.

Moreover, farmers who completed land registrations in the past three months have not yet received their passbooks. New registrations processed through the Mandal Revenue Office portal haven’t yielded passbooks on time. Without these crucial documents, farmers are unable to apply for government schemes related to loans, subsidies, equipment, and benefits, leading to financial losses.

The delay in issuing passbooks to farmers is creating economic distress and hindrance in availing government schemes. Efforts are being made to issue passbooks promptly through the tehsil offices and address technical printing issues causing delays in the distribution. While some farmers are seeking assistance at service centers, many are facing difficulties due to the office closures.

In response to the farmers’ agitation, Bhanseelaal Hameed issued a vital statement emphasizing the importance of timely distribution of passbooks through the tehsil offices. Despite the delays in distribution, farmers were warned not to engage in protests; instead, they were advised to submit formal complaints for expedited resolutions.

The government’s large-scale land card cleaning program is completed, but issues like delayed passbook distribution persist. Authorities are urged to quickly resolve these issues to facilitate timely distribution of loans, subsidies, and schemes requested by farmers. Farmers are eager to see prompt actions taken to address these challenges and ensure smooth access to needed services.
