Iran Affirms it is not Seeking Nuclear Weapons ‘at orders of its leadership, religious authority’

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Wednesday that Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons at the orders of the country’s leadership and religious authority, as reported by Anadolu. He emphasized, ‘We are not seeking to manufacture nuclear weapons and will not pursue the development or use of such weapons.’ In recent years, Iran has consistently denied allegations that it is seeking to build nuclear weapons, stating that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.
