Iran has agreed with the UN to resume nuclear site inspections three months after US-Israeli strikes, in a bid to ease Western sanctions. Iranian and United Nations negotiators confirmed that they had reached an agreement to resume international inspections of nuclear facilities inside Iran. According to The New York Times, on Tuesday, the deal, announced by Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, comes after escalating tensions triggered by a joint Israeli and U.S. strike against Iran’s nuclear sites.
