Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has reported the capture of eight individuals suspected of espionage linked to the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad. The arrests took place in the province of Jozestan. The detainees allegedly used the internet to transmit ‘coordinates of strategic and sensitive installations, as well as information about prominent military figures’ to Mossad intelligence officers during the June confrontation. The Revolutionary Guard described the operation as a major blow to Mossad’s activities in Iran.
