Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran will suspend its cooperation with the United Nations nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), if international sanctions are reimposed by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The Supreme National Security Council of Iran has issued a warning that such actions by European countries will ‘effectively suspend’ the country’s cooperation with the IAEA. President Pezeshkian also stated that Iran is prepared to ‘overcome obstacles’ that may arise from wide-ranging UN sanctions if they are reinstated.
