The path to nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States ‘is not closed.’ Ali Lariyani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, declared that Tehran is open to dialogue but affirmed that the U.S. is not willing to engage in meaningful talks. Lariyani emphasized the importance of a ‘sensible and real negotiation’ and expressed Iran’s willingness to participate in discussions if the U.S. is ready to engage constructively.
