Iranian justice sentenced two people to death and two others to prison on Saturday for their alleged links to Israeli intelligence, Mossad, and the opposition Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) organization, considered terrorist by Tehran. The individuals were accused of ‘geolocation of sensitive locations and construction of explosive projectiles,’ according to Tehran. The identities of the accused were not revealed. The verdicts come amid tensions between Iran and Israel, with both countries engaging in public accusations of covert operations against the other.
