VIENNA — Senior diplomats from Germany, the United Kingdom, and France engaged in last-minute negotiations with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during the U.N. General Assembly in a bid to explore final options before the reinstatement of sanctions on Iran’s nuclear program. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul confirmed the discussions were aimed at finding potential solutions ahead of the looming sanctions deadline on Sept. 28.
