Israel carried out another round of intense airstrikes in Yemen on Wednesday, days after Houthi rebels launched a drone offensive against an Israeli airport. At least 35 people died and over 130 were injured, mainly civilians, as a result of the attacks, according to Israeli officials. The strikes were a response to the increasing threat posed by the Iran-backed group’s targeting of Israeli civilian infrastructure, including airports and other key facilities. Israel’s Defense Minister condemned the Houthi attacks as a flagrant violation of international law and a threat to regional stability.
