Italian journalist Cecilia Sala returned to her country in January after enduring scenes of hell in Iran. Now, in an interview with Corriere della Sera about her new book, the woman recounted details of her detention in that country, including being “taken blindfolded to the gallows tower”. Sala revealed the nightmare she went through during her time in one of Iran’s worst prisons, where she was subjected to harsh conditions and interrogations.
