Among the many luxuries in the lives of celebrities like Gusttavo Lima, Wesley Safadão, Simone Mendes, and Zé Neto (from the duo with Cristiano) are high-standard horses. These artists, all from the sertanejo music scene, follow a tradition linked to Brazilian music that portrays animals, farms, and rural life. Many of these high-performance equines can be worth $10 million — not to mention the costs of keeping them in good health. The ambassador himself — a title by which Gusttavo became known among his fans — until recently owned 100% of the Oregon horse, from the coveted Friesian breed, which had a millionaire value. Last Monday (4), at the 4th Haras Frange Auction held at the Palácio Tangará in São Paulo, the sertanejo auctioned off half of the animal. The buyer of the remaining 50% was none other than Latino, who will pay the price of $5 million in 50 installments of $100,000.
