The MEA has urged citizens to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to such fraudulent schemes. Individuals have been lured with promises of lucrative employment opportunities, only to find themselves in dangerous situations. ‘Please exercise extreme caution and do not be swayed by tempting job offers,’ stated the advisory from the MEA. The warning comes in the wake of incidents where individuals have been tricked into fake job offers and subsequently kidnapped in Iran.
