Michelle Addresses Crisis with Bolsonaro’s Children: ‘They Shouldn’t Criticize Me’

Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro stated on Tuesday (2) that she respects the opinion of her stepchildren, Jair Bolsonaro’s children, but thinks differently and has the “right to express” her thoughts “freely and sincerely”. Michelle clashed with the PL leadership and Bolsonaro’s three eldest sons, Flávio, Eduardo, and Carlos, for publicly criticizing the party’s alliance with Ciro Gomes (PSDB) in Ceará. Flávio, Eduardo, and Carlos accused their stepmother of being ‘authoritarian,’ ‘overstepping’ their father by commenting on the negotiations, and ‘embarrassing’ Congressman André Fernandes (PL-CE), who is the party’s president in Ceará and handles alliances in the state. The PL will hold a meeting this afternoon to urge caution in comments about state arrangements.
