Mohammed Siraj says WTC India Series Against South Africa is Important

The Indian team is currently in third place in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) standings. They drew 2-2 against England and subsequently defeated West Indies 2-0. On the other hand, South Africa, the reigning champions, started their first match against Pakistan with a 1-1 draw, setting the stage for an exciting series. ‘The upcoming series in the WTC is very important. As South Africa are the current champions, we need to respect them. With good preparations and a positive team environment, our confidence is high,’ said fast bowler Mohammed Siraj. Having Jasprit Bumrah’s presence and support has boosted Siraj’s performance. In the series against England, he recorded figures of 23 wickets, and in the West Indies series, he took 10 wickets in two matches.
