Parliamentarians accuse STF minister of abuse of authority, censorship, political persecution, and disrespect for parliamentary immunity. Five deputies from the PL (Liberal Party) filed a new impeachment request against Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court at the Senate on Tuesday (5th). The initiative is led by Deputy Hélio Lopes (PL-RJ), who engaged in a silent protest in front of the Supreme Court in July, and is supported by deputies Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ), Cabo Gilberto (PL-PB), Coronel Chrisóstomo (PL-RO), and Rodrigo da Zaeli (PL-MT). In the document, the deputies accuse Moraes of malpractice, abuse of authority, maladministration, censorship, and violation of constitutional guarantees of freedom of expression and parliamentary immunity.
