President Prabowo Requests Women’s Representation in Polri Reform Acceleration Commission Team

President Prabowo Subianto has requested for the inclusion of women in the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission. He provided important guidance to the Polri Reform Commission. The establishment of the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission is a response by the President to public aspirations. During the first meeting at the National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta on Monday (10/11/2025), Chairman of the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission, Jimly Asshiddiqie, stated, ‘We had a meeting with 10 members, next week there will be an additional woman, I haven’t mentioned her name yet, based on the President’s wish for female representation, so there will be a total of 11 members.’ The former Chief of the Constitutional Court from 2003-2008 stated that he cannot yet reveal the identity of the woman who will join the structure of the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission. According to him, the idea came directly from President Prabowo.
