Promoting High-Quality Development in the Yellow River Basin

The Yellow River Basin serves as a vital ecological barrier for China and plays a significant role in population activities and economic development. Since the Central Committee put forward the strategy for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, the ecological environment has steadily improved, the foundation for energy and food security has been strengthened, and there have been many highlights in high-quality development. However, there is still a need to strengthen distinctive industries based on regional resources, factor endowments, and development foundations, accelerate the transformation of old and new growth drivers, and build a modern industrial system with characteristic advantages. The 3rd Plenum of the 20th Party Congress proposed optimizing the mechanism for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.
