Rain Alert: Low Pressure Area Formed, Orange Alert Issued for 2 Days

The meteorological center has issued an alert indicating the formation of a low pressure area in Malaysia and the adjacent Malacca Strait regions yesterday, progressing northeastward, intensifying into a wind depression zone. Today, the affected area extends approximately 740 kilometers from Nicobar Islands (Nikobar Islands) to the east-southeast, off the coast of Car Nicobar, reaching 870 kilometers from Nicobar Islands to the east-southeast. This system is expected to further intensify in the northeast-northeast direction over the next 48 hours.
