The meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira in Washington concluded on Thursday (13). The main topic of discussion was the 50% tariff imposed on Brazilian products by President Donald Trump in August this year. Rubio and Vieira had a 10-minute meeting, followed by a 1-hour extended meeting with negotiators. Representing Brazil in the extended meeting were not only Vieira, but also other key officials.
