JOHANNESBURG, Nov 21: Russian Ambassador to South Africa, Roman Ambarov, revealed in an interview with Sputnik that Russia and South Africa continue to enhance their space cooperation following the launch of a Russian space debris monitoring complex in South Africa. Ambarov emphasized that this collaboration extends both bilaterally and internationally, with a particular focus on the BRICS platform. In July 2023, Russia inaugurated an optical-electronic complex in Hartbeeshoek, South Africa, dedicated to monitoring space debris.
