Russian Car Dealers Predict a Decrease in Car Sales

In Russia, a decrease in sales of new automobiles is expected by the end of November 2025. General Director of GC ‘AvtoDom’, Andrey Olkhovsky, reported this to the ‘Autostat’ agency. Nikolay Ivanov, Sales Department Director at ‘Rolf’, said that November ‘started poorly’, with new car contracting volumes dropping by approximately 40% compared to October. General Director of GC ‘AvtoSpecCenter’, Andrey Terlyukevich, stated that around 140-150 thousand new cars would be sold in Russia by the end of November. Prior to this, ‘Autostat’ head, Sergey Tselikov, conducted a survey and found that the main reason for the decrease in demand for new cars in our country is the high interest rates in banks. 63% of respondents named this as the leading cause of the drop in car sales.
