Vladimir Simonov, a People’s Artist of Russia, passed away at the age of 68. The news was revealed during the night of November 9 by the Vakhtangov Theatre telegram channel. ‘The news came that is hard and impossible to believe. People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Aleksandrovich Simonov is no more,’ the announcement stated. The cause of death has not been disclosed, and information about the date and place of the funeral is currently unavailable. Vladimir Simonov, born in 1957, graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in 1980 and joined the Moscow Art Theatre. In 1988, he moved to the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theatre group.
