Santa Cruz: Iran Barbosa explains process by which SAF plans to pay debts

The Santa Cruz, still operating as an associative club, currently has a debt of R$ 307.8 million, as disclosed in the 2024 financial statement. Iran Barbosa, one of the investors in SAF, explained to Folha de Pernambuco how the Cobra Coral S/A intends to address this financial challenge. Barbosa stated, “Our plan involves a strategic restructuring of debt, renegotiating terms with creditors, and seeking new partnerships to generate revenue.” This approach aims to stabilize the club’s finances and pave the way for future growth.
