The Indonesia U-22 vs Philippines U-22 match will take place at the 700th Anniversary Stadium in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on Monday (12/8/2025). The match will kick off at 18:00 WIB.
Indonesia is placed in Group C at SEA Games 2025. The Garuda Muda squad is in the same group as the Philippines and Myanmar.
This will be Indonesia’s debut match. Meanwhile, the Philippines has already played their inaugural match against Myanmar, securing a 2-0 victory.
The three points earned put the Philippines at the top of Group C. The Philippines is eager to secure another victory. If they defeat Indonesia, the Philippines will secure a spot in the next phase as the group leaders.
However, Indonesia is determined not to give up easily. Toni Firmansyah and his team will surely put on their best performance to secure a full three points against the Philippines while also keeping their hopes alive for progression to the next round.
It’s worth noting that out of the three men’s football groups at the SEA Games 2025, only the group champions automatically qualify for the semifinals. The other semifinal ticket will be contested by the three runner-up teams.
