In the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, district authorities have announced the closure of schools and colleges due to heavy rainfall affecting the regions. The coastal areas in the southern districts are expected to receive heavy rainfall tomorrow, with the possibility of turning into severe storms within 48 hours. Continuous rainfall in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu has prompted the closure of schools and colleges in Nellai and Kanyakumari districts today (November 24). The districts affected include Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvarur, Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Mayiladuthurai, Kallakkurichi, and Tuticorin.
