PETALING JAYA: National squash player S. Sivasangari’s run at the Qatar Classic came to an end in the quarter-finals after she was defeated by Egypt’s Hania El Hammamy on Wednesday (Oct 1). Seventh seed Sivasangari fell 7-11, 8-11, 6-11 to second seed El Hammamy in a match that showcased high-quality squash from both players. Despite a valiant effort, Sivasangari couldn’t overcome the skill and precision of her opponent, who secured a spot in the semi-finals with the victory.
